First Sentier Investors (FSI) has informed CFS that they have made changes to their investment capabilities within Australia and will no longer offer market capitalisation index capability.
CFS is going through a process of appointing a replacement investment manager for the CFS Index Australian Share, CFS Geared Index Australian Share, CFS Index Property Securities and CFS Top 20 Index SMA portfolios.
CFS has no concerns with FSI managing the funds until transition to a new manager. There will be no material impacts for investors from the change of manager as the funds index benchmarks, objectives and strategies will remain the same.
CFS expects to be able to finalise the confirmation of a new manager shortly.
FSI has committed to continuing to manage the portfolios in an orderly and prudent manner until the transition is complete.
CFS will continue to monitor the management of the portfolios closely.
