If you have your login details ready:

  1. Log in to FirstNet, our secure online portal.

    Log in here

  2. Enter your Member ID or OIN.

    This is your unique 8 digit number which can be found on the top right-hand corner on a previous paper statement.

  3. Enter your password.

    Passwords should be minimum 8 characters long, and a maximum of 16 characters. For strong passwords, it's recommended to include a mix of letters, numbers and/or symbols. 

  4. Click Login, you’re done!

If you have forgotten your login details:

  1. Go to Retrieve your login details.

    Access here

  2. Your Member ID or OIN is your unique 8 digit number, if you don't know this please enter your account number. These details can be found on the top right-hand corner on a previous paper statement.

     

    If you do not have either of these please call us on 13 13 36 (8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Sydney time).

  3. Enter your Member ID or OIN, Postcode, and Date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy).

  4. Enter the FirstNet code and click 'Next' to reset your password.  

     

    If you have not registered a mobile number on your account OR the number displayed is no longer in use please call us on 13 13 36 (8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Sydney time).

  5. Click "Generate FirstNet Code". The code will be sent to your registered mobile.

  6. You’re done!

    The new password can be used straight away to log into your account. 

Troubleshooting tips:

1. Error message: "Some of the information you have entered is either missing or not in our required format. Please try again". 

  • Make sure there are no blank spaces after the Member ID (OIN) or postcode 
  • The date of birth needs to have the forward slashes to separate the day, month and year e.g. 01/01/1970 

2. Error message: “Unfortunately the information you entered does not match our records. Please check your details and try again”.

  • Make sure the postcode matches the residential address you have registered with Colonial First State. If this has changed please call us on 13 13 36 (8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Sydney time). 

3. Error instance: The new password you're entering is not allowing you to click 'save'.
