Aspect Diversified Futures Fund receives Highly Recommended rating from Lonsec

What does the rating indicate?
In August 2023 Lonsec upgraded their rating of the Aspect Diversified Futures Fund — Class A from Recommended to their highest rating of Highly Recommended.
“The ‘Highly Recommended’ rating indicates that Lonsec has very strong conviction the financial product can generate risk adjusted returns in line with relevant objectives. The financial product is considered a preferred entry point to this asset class or strategy.”

The Aspect Diversified Futures Fund (ADFF) uses systematic modelling and tactical allocation to opportunistically profit from market trends as they arise. It is equipped to capture profit in both rising and falling market environments, while simultaneously delivering returns that have a low correlation to the returns of traditional asset classes over the long term.
ADFF strengths
Some of the strengths of the fund highlighted in Lonsec’s review include:
- “The Fund has delivered strong absolute and peer relative performance over all short and long term time periods measured,
- Aspect has notable headroom for growth given its current asset base,
- Meaningful allocation (20%) to non-trend following alpha signals may provide a complementary return source and diversification during challenged conditions for trend following.”
The upgrade to ADFF is a testament to the dedication of its founders, Martin Lueck and Anthony Todd, and the entire Aspect team’s commitment to continuous improvement, research, and strong risk management. The heightened emphasis on risk management is integrated into Aspect’s investment process, overseen by the manager’s Investment Committee.
